My experiences in Turkey were excellent.  I found the people hospitable, the archeological sites well maintained and interesting, the food excellent and the prices reasonable.  I have visited the country twice, once in 2000 and once in 2002.  The first trip was with my daughter and friends, the second trip part of an organized tour.
